Thaddy what model chive did you get? I can't decide between the boron black or the TiNi chive. Does all the chive models have the pocket clip on them? I agree with Old Pa. The Victorinox’s are built to last a lifetime+, and holds an excellent edge.- TheReaper

Need help deciding on tires...any recommendations?
I test tires for a living. Stay away from BFG. I run Eagle F1 GS-D3 on my 97 z28 6 speed with some mods. Excellent wet and dry traction with excellent wear and is quiet. Don't even think of running these tires in the snow, zero traction. For a winter tire look at Ultra Grip Ice, best winter tire...- TheReaper

classic rock music streams recommended?
You could try www.live365.com, but have a pop-up blocker. Their's a lot to pick from. Some of the stations use Mp3Pro that sounds really good.- TheReaper

Quail group buy review thread
Well after testing, things were closer then I originally thought. The cable with the ferrites seemed to take alittle longer to break-in. In the end it was almost to close to call. The cable without the ferrites was the one I preferred. The highs were slightly extended, easier to hear details... -

Quail group buy review thread
I removed both of the ferrite clamps on one of my cables. I first removed the plastic cover by cutting it with a X-acto knife. I then used a punch and hammer to remove one of the ferrite clamps. For the second ferrite clamp, I just gave it a good wack with the hammer. This provided the best...
