There's no "may" about it, it's a real 256GB card. While it is slower it's still very high quality with excellent reviews.- Magick Man

Those are really nice, BTW (if your player supports them), just as fast as internal storage. Edit: I noticed they're sold out, but you can still get this Silicon Power 256GB for $90. Yes, it's a real 256GB card, not a hacked fake, I have one of these in my camera and it works like a champ...- Magick Man

These are on Tyll's Wall of Fame, and I bought a pair. They're quite good, one of the better wireless, BT headphones out there, for only $129: JBL Everest Elite 700 https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B079DD918L/ref=s9_acsd_bw_wf_a_dlpf8f60_mdl?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER- Magick Man

Pound for pound, probably the best value in IEMs, period. They sound as good as, if not better than, competitors costing >5x more. KZ ZS6 Custom-built Hybrid HiFi In-ear Earphones - $31 https://www.gearbest.com/earbud-headphones/pp_770863.html- Magick Man

They do use MMCX and do respond well to balanced cable upgrades. IMO, these do require a lot of EQ to get a neutral sound out of them, they're very, very dark without it, but fortunately they do EQ well and have beautiful, if slightly forward (+2dB), mids. From that perspective they've caught on...- Magick Man

USB cable supposedly improving DAC sound quality? How can I take other posts seriously after that?
The placebo effect is very powerful. Having been involved with a DBT involving USB cables; $3 (Monoprice) > $1000 (Audioquest Diamond), all 1m, there was no audible difference. and yes, my friend finally noticed that someone swapped his cables, but only because he needed to move his gear...- Magick Man

How many DACs?
Today I was counting DACs & DAC/Amp combos I've accumulated and was surprised to find out I have 22, with 9 of them attached to my computer at the same time (and a few I'd forgotten about). Time to clean up after the holidays, I guess (I don't want to even talk about how many sets...- Magick Man

Today I was informed that the Black Friday iSine 10 deal (not sure about the other models) directly from Audeze could take weeks to fill, so I hope no one ordered these as Christmas gifts, and if you did you may want to organize a backup gift.- Magick Man

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
Some advice. Stay in line for the Stratus but also keep an eye on Audiogon. That's how I bought my EC BA, I got in line for a new one and found exactly the same on Audiogon 5 months later, virtually brand new (only 9-10 hrs on it), for $600 less. Then when my new one arrived I had a brand new...- Magick Man

So far I've received 3 sets of these and all 3 have been defective in some way. QC on these from the OEM seems to be very poor. :head_bandage:- Magick Man

Sennheiser HD800S Unveiled!
Are balanced amps better? Short answer: Just being balanced doesn't automatically make an amp better. Long answer: Within the low-mid tiers, where a lot of enthusiasts shop for desktop amps, balanced amps are generally better built. Also they offer more voltage at lower gain, and provide more...- Magick Man
