Well, $205 is the best I can do. The EX800ST is cheaper than the 7750, but that's because it lacks a US warranty. I think both are discontinued, but I could be wrong.

But, if you have a pair of those MDR-XB90EX in your pic, I wouldn't sweat it. Those things are some sick bass cannons in their own right.

Unfortunately my xb90ex are not working anymore and I was looking for an "upgrade" :D

Maybe this is not the right thread, but why do you suggest that?

Plantsman - thanks for the tip on the tips! (only small size seem to be available atm).
Neweggflash has for $180 - seems like it may be a good price
ONKYO rubato DP-S1(B)

Just to update on this deal. I decided to give it a try. It is new and it is the American version so streaming services like Tidal do work with the caveat that it is streaming only with no local offline playback allowed. Had both SE and balanced output, 2 SD card slots (each supports 256Gb) WiFi Bluetooth. All kinds of esoteric high resolution formats. There's a thread here for the player.

Those are really nice, BTW (if your player supports them), just as fast as internal storage.

Edit: I noticed they're sold out, but you can still get this Silicon Power 256GB for $90. Yes, it's a real 256GB card, not a hacked fake, I have one of these in my camera and it works like a champ.

It may be a real card, but its way slower than that Samsung card. So as long as you don't mind it taking 3+ times as long to transfer files to the card you'll be fine. Its way fast enough for the player to read the music files from it. Its only an issue filling the card.

There's no "may" about it, it's a real 256GB card. While it is slower it's still very high quality with excellent reviews.
