I don't know much about Tripp-Lite but I use Pangea AC 14SE MK II on all my gear (around $60.00 ) ,if you using none balanced source I would highly recommend 18 AWG RCA Quad Shield RG-6 Coax 75 Ohm with Solid Copper Center (ebay -cheap ) for interconnect Good balanced source should improve...- spacequeen7

You set up have plenty of power and it's sufficient to drive any HP or eSTAT's,the only reason I passed on iCan is tonality ,few mention iCAN having similar tonality no matter the source ,it's not IESL which is very natural with the pinch of dark I would suggest different amp ,you want at list...- spacequeen7

Hi Mike,no point in getting all mad :) ,no one is trying to steer controversy and what not ,one of the reasons I bought this amp was roll-able opamps I previously owned very good OTL and still have a bunch of tubes and other tube amps but the day I tried "discrete" opamps it was over ,still miss...- spacequeen7

You need balanced connection (gain -standard) for any harder to drive HP...Volume @ noon for LCD-2 ,all them 1/4 jacks are for low impedance HP- spacequeen7

Small follow up in regards to power requirements ,both amps picture below can push SR-207 or LCD-2 with ease ,I'm very pleased how transparent IESL sounds ,no hint of coloring as far as I can tell with a slight pinch of darkness, Pairs well with brighter sounding (both my amps) source like...- spacequeen7

Yes XMOS is pretty bad and implemented over multiple platforms but why would you spend all that $ on some stupid USB insulators ? Why not get digital bridge for almost same money, Gustard U16 is only few back more and ESS driven- spacequeen7

@Deftone ..It's hard to recommend anything since we all have different music preferences but there are definitely some good choices under 1K, I have been enjoying this D50 for a while now (early adopter) and I like it a lot but it's time to go balance ,will be keeping it just in case ,yes D50...- spacequeen7

Sounds like you need to upgrade your amp (more resolving/transparent ) you should be able to tell the difference ,same as Optical vs. USB ..amp have a lot to do with your end result- tonality- spacequeen7
