Joined March of 2008. We're now in March of 2024. 16 years later crazy how time flies. I haven't tinkered with my setup I'm content with it and just enjoy it for what it is. No plans of changing/upgrading. Since that's the case I mostly just lurk these days.

It's been a while but I'm fairly certain it's the A90D with the volume. I don't use the remote I just spin the volume pot but the DAC is a set it and forget it for the most part. It's used via USB and even powers on when my PC turns on.

A90 Discrete I have paired with the D90SE. I also through a Schitt Lokius in the middle. It's epic bang for buck.

It's harder to push than my previous cars (Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 V10 Plus) as it's more tail happy. However makes the car feel more alive and more rewarding with the results!

Yes you can. I'm XLR output to Focal Clear Mg. RCA output to Vanatoo they both play at the same time. You can isolate just one or the other or both.

Just keep it within volume that won't blow your ear drums apart. I'm on high gain with Focal Clear (55 ohm) via XLR. I'm usually 40-45%. Some softer tracks 50-55%. Shift it another 5-10% if I want to really jam loud. Anything beyond that is ear piercing. I think you're hearing limit will...
