Has there been a new Beta lately or did I miss one somehow?

I'm on my 3rd Clip Zip. The buttons wear out before the battery does. After Rockboxing and set correctly it's a hard unit to beat SQ wise. I also own a Fiio X7. At 549 Dollars you'd expect a large sound improvement and you'd be wrong. The X7 sounds better and louder but not 500 Dollars better...

Anyone know if somebody like Monoprice makes a coax jumper of a couple feet or so that will work with the X7?

Anyone know if the ViperEffect's Gain feature is the only ReplayGain we are going to get?

I have a question for the Group Mind.    I'm thinking of buying an NFB 11 headphone amp/DAC. Can my X7 plug directly into the 11 via USB port or do I need to use the audio out and audio in on the 11?     Thanks folks!

I have a question for the group. My X7 sounds better with the entire Viper Effect console turned off. Am I the only one who hears this?

You'll need to use the balanced out port on the bottom right. As for cables, watch out. The audio hobby has attracted a lot of crooks who try to sell cables for hundreds of Dollars that do NOTHING more than ones you could make yourself fot less than 10 and a pile of parts from Monoprice. Beware.

Fiio,      The Fiio music app picks the first album art that it finds and that's usually fine, but sometimes it's a strange ugly compillation album nobody's ever heard of. If you can please let users pick from a few album art choices like PowerAmp does? Not a high priority. Thank you again.

I'm so happy that my X7 plays my music after the card reformat that I have no plans to complain about anything.

Exactly. My 64Gig Sandisk card worked fine under firmware 2.0 but was not working under the 3.0 betas. After a reformat it now works fine. Don/t ask why, just try it.
