Hi, thanks for getting back to me. The input on the hdvd800 I am trying to use is coax. I am plugging the other end in to the lineout to coax adapter that came with the x7, then attaching this to the lineout of the DK1.

Before I bought the dk1 I would put 1 end of the coax in to the amp the other in to the fiio supplied lineout/coax adaptor and that in to the top lineout of the x7. It worked fine.

Dear jynxed,

The lineout/coaxial port of the X7 is multiplexed. However, the lineout port of the DK1 is only avialable for lineout output not the coaxial output.

Best regards

  OK Fiio.
Please listen to how much distortion of AIMP it was recorded.

I recorded from the analog lineout of X7 via PC USB audio interface, but it is the same sound even at headphone out.
All FiiO Music and AIMP equalizer are disabled.

AIMP has no problem with smartphones, but it gets distorted in X7.

Thanks @FiiO  Any idea when the distortion issue with USB Audio Player Pro will be resolved?

Hello FiiO
AIMP and USB Audio Player Pro have the same distortion problem.

I have a little issue with Tidal and I'm wondering if any others have encountered the same problem...

When playing Tidal via the am3's balanced output, if I unplug the headphones, and then plug them in again, there's a pretty loud wifi/interference-type noise (much louder than the typical RFI noise when streaming). It goes away instantly when you hit play (even if you instantly pause playback again). Anybody else had this experience??

Yes, those were my previous headphones, but I only listened them with AM1 amp module.
I think AM2 will match UE900 better, warmer and more control on mids/highs that were a bit "harsh" with AM1.

At the price you can get them now, an excellent value for the money.
My 2 cents

I had of ue900 in 2013, unfortunately I got rid of them and didn't have the opportunity to listen to on my X7.
