You're describing the 225, but I vastly preferred the sound and musicality of the SR225e to the SR80e, huge improvement and for me well worth the price difference.

If it works it's worth a try. That it's short and made for quick data transfer may be a better choice, compare it with the Apple cable if you're interested in doing so, see which you like more.
