Why bump a pointless thread last updated 6 years beforehand?

There are as far as we know, no remaining examples of the Plasmasonic Ion Drive headphone.   A production model. Of which 0 exist. It's kinda cheating, but it doesn't get much rarer than that.

I concur with n3rdling.   I've owned the O2/717 combo for 5 and a half years, it makes superb music.   The BHSE is better, but also different. And of course, big money.

Quick post as I'm on the move.   If you buy one of these, also buy a Sennheiser HD212. The headband can be adapted to replace the horrible TakeT one.   Also consider running one with a Stax amplifier (717 minimum, KGSS better).
