    Q701 impressions thread

Hello, my pads are in terrible condition after using them for, what, five years? Anyway, I'm planning on replacing them when I can. I'm in a situation where I need to save money, so I can't really justify spending, like, $70 on new pads atm. Not to say I'm looking for cheap replacements, cuz I...

So that's a better idea than just buying some kind of replacement cable? Also, is there a particular way of shopping for them? I really don't want to accidentally make a poor decision and end up paying more than what I should or less and order from some place with terrible QC.

The FiiO X3 2nd gen (ex X3K, X3II) Thread : 192K/24B, CS4398,Native DSD, USB DAC with LO and inline remote

This is the first Fiio driver I've installed, and no other cable is working. Interestingly, before the Windows OS boots up, the DAC interface stays on the X3ii for longer than a part of a second, and it closes as soon as Windows boots up. Any suggestions of what I should do from here?

    Q701 impressions thread

So, when my dad resoldered my Q701 after it had the inside soldering come out, he ended up damaging the outside grill. However, he accidentally left a loose screw in it. How do I take the Q701 grill off without damaging it?

I'm wanting to replace the cable on my ER-4S. The main thing I want is a cable that won't create a bunch of noise when they rub up against something. I've asked a little bit and someone told me that these were decent cables...

I have installed the latest firmware to my Fiio X3II, but I'm running into an issue.  Whenever I plug it into my computer, the DAC screen flashes for a part of a second, then it immediately returns to the home menu.  Due to this, I have been unable to install the drivers needed to run the...

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

The goal of a truly neutral headphone is to best compensate for the curves in our ears.  The problem is there's variation.  Certain headphones like the NQ90 that's gonna come out soon and the K1000 do things to fix that, but normal headphones that don't do that can only do so much (Being open...

Actually, can you explain your processes in more detail?  There are certain parts of the process where checking with headphones would be just fine and actually encouraged.  Although, certain parts, it would definitely be preferable to have the headphone be neutral.  Sometimes, too, you'll also...

You're crazy. Actually, give me something you've mixed before and after using these.  I would LOVE to hear it.  And what did you use before these?
