Anyone have any idea where they are getting their connectors from? Would be real nice to be able to use those for a custom cable, rather than having to hack up a stock cable to salvage the ends........

They're undoubtly custom made. The plugs are copper, which i've never heard of in HD-580/600 plugs, much less ever seen advertised. You could always ask zu to sell you a set, but i'd doubt that they'd be intrested in selling them

I emailed them, a couple of weeks ago, asking them if they would sell these connectors but didnt get a reply.

Presumably that "might in the future" could be when their email is flooded with enquires regarding the connectors.
