Hi all,
I'm in the market for a better headphone amp to drive my new Audio Technica AD700 headphones. I'm wondering which is better:
1) Zhaolu D2.5A w/ upgraded caps (Elna) and opamps (LT1057, AD08) and the discrete headphone amplifier module, or
2) Meier Audio Corda 2Move
My current situation sees me spending (in Australian dollars) about $400 for the Zhaolu setup and $300 for the Meier, so any suggestions around this price range are more than welcome!
Currently have the Zhaolu with standard headamp module, headphones sound good but I believe they can sound much better.
I read some massive thread comparing 37 (39?) headphone amps, where the 2Move finished very nearly top of the pack, but I have no idea how the Zhaolu's discrete amp compares
TIA!
