Zen micro Radio recording issues

does anyone elses zen micro not record anything on the radio when the headphones are unplugged? i noticed when recording some loveline (greatest radio show ever) that i only get static when the headphones are unplugged. anyone else have this problem or know why it happens.

I havent noticed it because i dont record radio, but its because the headphone wires act as the antenna

I was about to post that, but yes, the headphones act as an antenna, hence why it doesn't record when they're unplugged.

ahhh. i suspected something like that. ok so i'll just keep my cans plugged in i guess.
