So I am looking for a new set of portable headphones that are cheaper and more expendable than my Triple.fi 10 pros. Wanting to know strictly sound quality wise which is better. I don't care if they isolate or not.

If you dont care about isolation then I'd pick an earbud over an IEM anyday. My PK1, 3 as well as 2 blew the SA6 out of the water in terms of SQ. Comfort alone should be worth it though.

You might wanna try crossroads mylarone hr2's too. They are just as good and come with a much better cable.

Yuin definitely. The PK2 is a very nice bud and works well off portable devices. Frequency response is great on it, basically ruler (ear) flat. The presentation is authoritative and open, lots of detail, a little in-your-face, and notes are crisp and short. They don't really do anything bad, and the "faults" that they have are more of a matter of personal taste then anything else.
