I have encountered this at least 10 times, IIRC. Didn't thought to report it considering that it might be me. Maybe it still is. Also encountered this in the mobile site view in my Nexus 7, when I quoted a previous post containing a Youtube video and it disappeared too in my reply.

Even worse than not showing up when quoting, in my case they don't even show up at all:

Quote this post and you'll see what's wrong.

This bug seems fixed. Looking back at my example, it seems like it's fixed.

EDIT: false alarm, still not fixed.
