...A Sense of Purpose.

I think they really did good with the instrumentals.
Heavy, yet fast at the same time.
Also love the couple of acoustic solos they put in there.

Only thing I don't like...are his vocals.
They sound horrific.
More like Reroute to Remain album's vocals.

He's in between screaming and singing.
He sounds like he's moaning/groaning and gets irritating very fast and very tempting to change song.

Overall I'd say it deserves about a 6/10, if it weren't for crappy vocals I'd say maybe 9/10.

Best In Flames work remains classic Jester Race > Clayman

After Clayman best album for me is Come Clarity followed by new album.
Vocals are not great compared to classic IF, but what hurts music for me is the power metal style keyboards that find thier way into later albums like Sense of Purpose.........good album by todays generic standards, but compared to classic era IF stuff not great. I own it and plan to keep it BTW
