You say you want inexpensive speakers? How about $15.00/pair?

My those look familiar. . .

A friend bought a pair of speakers that look identical from Circuit City under the "Dual" brand. Now, the same speaker appears to be available at Circuit City under the "Element" brand. I'd be willing to bet that Dual, Element and Presidian all all the same company.

Buy the Element 2-way Bookshelf Speakers and other Home audio speakers at circuitcity.com

I heard the duals in my home, and they are not completely terrible. We're not talking high end, but they sound decent for cheap speakers (better than a lot of junk I've heard). $15 per pair is certainly cheap. If you know someone on a very very low budget, this is a possibility for getting music in your life at very low cost. Just don't expect miracles. This and a $35 T-Amp would make a cheap system.
