One really fantastic sounding powerful fast DAP that just maybe the most compatible with hires apps player yet...
This is a stack inside one box, the DAC amp section operates independently (you even switch it on seperately) So the DAC appears an SA9227 USB Audio device.
Sounds better than M15, Faster than M15, Google Play/Services, More hires Apps to choose from.
Works flawlessly in USB mode with all tried so far:

Wow!! waiting to hear a more detailed review from you and some comparisons please? Not tried the M400, almost ordered one but I don't really like stacking, I must say its the most impressive new release dap i've tried in a while.
Currently enjoying what Onkyo player has to offer, drew an EQ curve and sounds really good upsampled.

The specs are more with the m11 pro than the m15. M15 is 4499, similar to the M400. Would be really curious to see if yinlumei releases a DAP with M400 sound
Agreed, but the DACS are just one ingredient and in a portable the amp section is the week point so the amp section is the most important. The A2 has the power, and it's sound quality is better than the M15 (I had one and wasn't impressed, its all hype) This one also has google services and is going to jump to Android 8 soon.

What is the build quality like?
Very good build quality, maybe not the prettiest design but what they have done is spot on.
The screen quality and touch is great, the speed of boot is the fastest android boot time and operation seems faster than my Fiio M11Pro SS and Shanling M6
I'm not run any benchmarks as yet.

How would you describe the SQ? is it musical? organic? Also how did you get hold of it in the UK? did you have to pay import tax? I know..... tons of questions lol.... Thanks!!

I'm probably not the best to describe it as I'm heavy PEQ user (I use the same peq settings between daps i compare though) although it's using AK4497 it's along the lines of the Accoustic Research AR-M2 (uses Burr-Brown PCM1794) instrument separation is fantastic.
Which ones - I have / had most daps
I have a contact in Hong Kong I import DAPs from, there are a china versions and international versions with google services.
It's been a while since I had a dx228, I prefer the dx150 with amp9 to to dx220 with amp8. I did listen to an AMP8EX-P2 i modded for a headfier this weekend on the dx150 and it was very good.
