I just installed some Blackgate NP caps on the Wolfson DAC outputs (6.3V 22uF non-polarized) in place of the cruddy electrolytics that came with the board.
The difference is not subtle at all -- more space, more depth, a bit tighter bass, even a touch more detail... Nice.
Even my wife (my ultimate objective reference for all things audio) noticed the difference, and was reluctant to hand the 650's back to me...
The signal path is: AV710 / Zu Mobius / PPA (OPA627/12xbuffers) / Cardas / Senn 650's.
Using Foobar2000 / WAV files / Kernel Streaming / Resample to 96K.
The caps were only a couple of bucks each -- definitely worth it!
