I have had my Denon AH-C751 for just over 4 years now and the right can is literally taped together, so I guess it's time for something new.

I have to admit I don't know much about earphones but I have really enjoyed these headphones and it will be sad to retire them.

I mainly use earphones whilst walking to and from work (~30 mins each way) and sometimes during train journeys up and down the country. During this time the headphones are frequently connected directly to my iPhone or Macbook so it would be nice to have an inline remote (although far from a necessity).

I have been doing some research and I am considering the following (but I would love to hear of any other suggestions):

Yamaha EPH-100 - http://www.audioaffair.co.uk/yamaha-eph100-earphones?gclid=CKb1i4SwycICFVDHtAodjT0AYw

Final Audio Design Heaven II -

Final Audio Design Adagio III -

SoundMAGIC E10 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/SoundMAGIC-E10-Earphones-Silver-Black/dp/B005HP3OB0/ref=sr_1_31?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1418691980&sr=1-31&keywords=earphones

Budget is around £80.

Thanks in advance for any help :D

For rock, pop and Jazz I'd recommend you look in the Vsonic VSD3S/VSD3 direction. I have heard the VSD1S, which plays well with pop and Jazz. The VSD3S is an improvement over the VSD1S. The Vsonic GR07BE is a further improvement of the VSD3S. The GR07BE usually goes for around 92EUR.

Take not that the GR07BE does not have the level of bass on the EPH100, so that will be the most apparent difference. The AH-C751 and EPH100 are more suited for EDM and associated genres. It may be a departure from what you are used to, but it could be a welcome change. For electronica and EDM, the EPH100 gets a very strong recommendation.

Please take my recommendation as a vote, and read up as many reviews as possible to form a consensus.
