Hi,
As the title says, I'm curious to know how the Xonar U1 differs with quality PCI cards (e.g. DX or Xense). The two functions I'm only really concerned about are Dolby Headphone and Dolby Pro Logic II(x). I'm planning to buy a new HTPC at the same time, so my decision for that depends for quite a bit on the sound card I choose (PCI Express or not).
Can anyone delight me with the answer: Is there quality difference between the U1 or any of the PCI cards? A related question I have, is if there are any other usb sound cards with these functions that might be better than the Xonar U1. The U1, for some reason, seems to be the only one I could find...
