I have connected this unit to my laptop Toshiba L300 MO2.
Like using the Xonar for listening to movies with headphones (Dolby etc etc)

For audio need passthrough to the Beresford DAC without Xonar processing or output control or my laptop volume being in the chain.

Using foobar/ASIO4all > Xonar U1> Beresford DAC
Windows volume mixer is now disabled (good)
Have optical out of Xonar to Beresford via combo outlet (good)
Xonar control volume via unit and audio centre (bad)
Volume control on Lap top also control volume (bad).

Any solutions? Has anyone found a way to bypass Xonar DAC?

Yeh!!!!!! Volume on laptop now disabled.
Foobar reload with ASIO4all seems to now do the trick.

Xonar now controlling volume.
Still have the problem of needing passthrough out of the Xonar.
