i have a wierd problem with my xonar stx card.
 
when i play music using foobar + asio (using asus drivers) there is a less than a second noise
when opening some files or launching some programs (like chrome)
 
the noise is like a small pop or buzz (it hard to describe)
 
the noise doesn't exist when playing music without using asio 
 
any clue of what could cause it ?

or you can simply change asio to ds output (set properties of STX in windows audio to 24 bit, 44100 Hz, and disable GX mode in xonar audio center)
