Posted this in the wrong thread by accident so I am copying it here where it belongs...
I am in need of an XM6 expansion connector to RCA line out adapter. Does anyone make these? I have emailed Practical Devices about it but got no response. I don't really feel like hunting down the right connectors and burning myself with a soldering iron assuming someone else makes this.
Additionally does anyone know if the back line out is disconnected when a headphone is connected to the front? Assuming the back line out is volume adjustable using the front knob?
Basically I want to drive my AudioEngine desktop speakers using the RCA when I am at home and take the amp with me when i head out. Ideally there is a switch between outputting to the front headphones or the back rca at will. without having to unplug the headphones but if i have to unplug the headphones when using RCA that is ok too.
