Anyone installed Ufeel op-amps buffer for your XD05 Pro? Some impressions pls.
I I stalled these on my Aroma Audio A100TB & it's sounds awesome!

If you really want to prove a point, try this.

1. Record a video.
2. Set the XD05Pro to EXT + Turbo mode.
3. Power down and fully disconnect the USB-C charger and tester from the XD05Pro.
4. Connect the GaN charger with the tester to the XD05Pro and power it on.
5. Play some sound through the XD05Pro without changing modes.
6. Post the video so we can all see :)

If this works then like @Ferdinando1968 said may be something has changed in the newer XD05Pro units because on our units this does not work and as he explained it’s how the USB-C handshake works.

Asking me making a "Video prove"? Lol~~ :) If you don't want to believe it, you don't need to.
Ran the GaN charger test again, the result is the same. As soon as GaN charger was connected to the XD05pro via the usb tester, it automatically recognized or negotiated to 12v even before turn on the XD05Pro. See below pics

No point in continuing this charger topic anymore.

As @Ferdinando1968 and @nioh said, most of us early adopters have already proved that OUR unit does not negotiated into 12V mode when connected to a PD-charger. Only when we flick the mode switch into "Charge" mode then it will renegotiated into12V with the charger.

You obviously just got your unit recently compared to those of us that already have our unit since the thing came out, so the most likely explanation is that early units are different and recent units have some things changed internally resulting in different outcome.

Let's move on.

OK, so what is the voltage of the charger before connecting to the xd05 pro?

I repeated the USB power tests, using the latest smart USB power supply I bought.
It has 5 groups of independent outputs and supports ALL charging protocols (QC and PD, Samsung, Huawei, Apple, etc) that my USB tester is capable of testing.

I obtained exactly the same results as last year: with the switch in CHARGE a voltage of 9V is negotiated, with the switch in EXT the voltage remains at 5V.

The device turns on in TURBO, but (as previously mentioned) does not work properly.

If I use the USB tester rather than using cables equipped with a voltmeter and ammeter, I get the same measurements.

If with the USB tester I 'force' the protocol to supply 12V, the USB power supply supplies it and everything works. But my XDUOO doesn't do it by itself.
