so my question is, if you buy the DVD playback kit, will your Xbox be able to play VCD's?

i really wanna get these Initial D VCD's off ebay from these hong kong sellers, but i don't know if my Xbox will play VCD's.

Don't know the answer to your question as I never purchased the remote, but .www.xbox.com is the official website

I don't think you can play VCDs without modding the xbox.

Google "xbox media player" for more detailed info.

I don't have Xbox, but I downloaded the xbox manual and it only mentioned playing audio CD and DVD movies...
