It is called "Xios" from Pivos.
Some details can be found here from Newegg feedack (XBMC mentioned a few times):

Spec can be found here (it supports MP3/ OGG/ WMA/ WAV/ AAC/ FLAC / mkv / flv,...... ect):

exFAT support (you should be able to use exFAT HDD with TBs of space with XIOS):

My plan of using the XIOS (I have not made purchase yet):
a few (3?) exFAT HDD loaded with terabytes of flac ---> USB port of XIOS ---> XBMC ---> digital streaming ---> iPhone 3GS running IOS5 with various UPnP / SAMBA / FTP app's ---> 1) or 2)
1) Direct to headphones when I am moving around my house
2) Pure i20 dock --> coaxial or optical digital output --> external DAC / amp
What I am not 100% sure about (need to confirm):
1) can I use up to three 2TB exFAT HDD with XIOS?
2) should I use Linux XBMC or Android 4.0 XBMC?
I assume that Android 4.0 XBMC can not output USB digital signal? I know nothing about Linux (I have been using PC and Apple IOS).
3) I am assuming that streaming will work, although I do not see why it will not.I also assume that XIOS can be ran headless (without a TV screen, i.e., using iPhone as remote control AND player).
Other thoughts:
1) if you do not care about exFAT support, you may try WDTV or AIOS, both of which offer external HDD / USB host / flac / optical digital output (AIOS also offer coaxial output).
2) If you want a similar flac-streaming device that is truly portable / battery powered (but with less functions), you can look into Patriot Gauntlet Node and my impression here:
