I just received my new x5ii today and noticed that the scroll wheel wobble unlike the x1 and x3ii.  It almost as if its not pressed down far enough compare to the other players.  Is there a way to fix this or is it normal for the x5ii?

I think it is normal (within tolerances). A very thin shim of about 0.5mm inside the scroll wheel outer rim should alleviate the problem.

I sold the player.  The wheel to me made it feel cheap being loose like that. 
Solved the problem by purchasing the X7.    no wheel problem there!
