IMO much better than the standard white 'Fiio' logo :D (In case you're wondering, the font I used is called "Bradley Hand ITC", size 26 Bold in gold (#D4AF37 or rgb(212,175,55) ) to match my gold coloured Fiio X3ii ).

Download the firmware unpack tool detailed on the first post at http://www.head-fi.org/t/805856/large-text-font-firmware-for-x1-x3-2nd-gen-x5-2nd-gen

Once unpacked you'll find in the main (root) folder a picture titled "logo.bmp"

This one:

Open in your favourite photo editor/ graphics software and edit to your hearts content. Save the completed masterpiece as a 32 bit "logo.png" (Yes, a .png !) The reason is that the Fiio will only display a 32 bit .bmp logo picture and that's the key, it has to be a 32 bit .bmp which ordinarily one can't do. However, and this is the clever bit, search online for a windows utility called "PNGtoBMP32.exe". You'll find it at https://pngtobmp32.codeplex.com/

Download it, run, drag and drop your logo.png pic and it'll create (and overwrite) your logo.bmp Then ensure your newly created .bmp masterpiece is in the correct folder and replaces the original boot logo, repack using the Fiio firmware tool and flash it to your Fiio. Hey presto, enjoy your new custom boot screen :D You should of course make sure you are familiar with the unpack/repack/firmware flashing procedure before customising the firmware !

(btw, the case I'm using is a "Tuff-Luv Faux Leather Case Cover for Fiio X1" which I bought on Amazon. The X3ii will fit, a little tight though as the X3ii is a couple of mm thicker than the X1).

Ali.
