hello everybody, i'm making an psu for an xcan,

i know there are a lot of topics on this, but still i haven't found the answer;

i wanna build an psu like grotto, that means an encapsulated transformer 2*0-12v at 30va.

but what i wanna ask is: is it short circuit safe, because there are encapsulated trannies which have this option and some of them doesn't.

the one with is quite hard to get, maybe i could make it myself.
something like: powercord - fuse - switch with caps.

what do you advice ?
what would you use as a fuse ?
