About 2 year ago, I purchased the X-540 speakers, and have used them for as my main speakers since. For these years, I've noticed that one of these speakers are either extremely quiet and provide almost no sound to the music, or are damaged, and I am asking if the X-540 is meant to be like this, or if it is the integrated sound card (Realtek® ALC892), or simply the speakers are damaged.
In my own experience however, I do not set it up as a surround sound (rather I place them all in front on my computer, but do set it 5.1 matrix on), and it sounds good enough with no significant lack of detail.
I understand that the X-540 are not exactly great speakers, but I am just curious.
