Hey all, I'm currently looking to upgrade my computer audio setup from crappy earbuds to some real headphones, and I've narrowed down the candidates to either the Sony MDR-V6 or the Audio-Technica ATH-M50S (budget <= $120). I'm also planning to get a Just Mobile HeadStand to hold the headphones on my desk. Thing is, I can't tell if a coiled cable can be wrapped around the HeadStand's base. In all the photos of the stand I have been able to find, it is pictured with headphones using straight cables or no cables at all. I contacted Just Mobile with this question but haven't heard back from them.
So does anyone here own a HeadStand and know if coiled cables will fit around its base? This will influence my choice of headphones, since the MDR-V6 is only available with a coiled cable and the ATH-M50S has a straight cable. And yes, as stupid as it may sound, at this point for me the choice of stand takes precedence over the choice of cans. Thanks.
