in between my mp3 player headphone output, and my car stereo's line input?Thus I wouldn't have to max out the volume on my Mp3 player and head unit. Thanks.

be sure to isolate all of yoru grounds from eachother. be stupid-carefull if you use the cars power suply to run the 'moy.
a large "argument" between ground references is never good....
