Hello,
I've been searching for a wireless digital music player to stream and play MP3s and Windows Media format digital files from my networked PC directly to my home stereo.

So far I have come up with the Netgear MP101 Digital Music Player and the AirPort from Apple. The airport is said to be very hard to install.

I was wondering if anyone had any alternatives for the hardware that I'm looking for and/or if what I have come up is already good.

Cheers,
Marc

also Slim Devices' Squeezebox (Mine's supposed to arrive Monday!) There are a few much more expensive options as well, like the Sonos.

If you're asking about the airport express, I'm very happy with mine and it's very easy to setup, but it only streams from iTunes and doesn't support windows media.

Yeah, totally, you have to plug it in AND run the setup assistant, I almost died from exhaustion.

I would really like to know who spreads that an *Apple product* is hard to install... totally bizarre.

In fact the APX is a neat solution with only minor setbacks (do search this place), but the Roku might be more convenient for certain setups.
