Then split up the digital input and DAC output sections, so the digital input is in a base station with a digital RF transmitter, and the DAC/amp portion is in a portable case with digital RF receiver. The outputs from the DIR1703 would be transmitted digitally via encoder/transmitter and received via receiver/decoder into the DAC. The constraints I see right now are that the digital RF transmitter/receiver pair must support at least the maximum frequency/bitrate of the outputs from the DIR1703 (LCKO, BCKO, DOUT).
The other option that aos suggested was just to transmit the SPDIF signal and put a receiver right before a DAC.
