Over the years, I've collected tens of thousands of files of music of various styles, quality, and file formats.
Chaotic me has created multiple folders over multiple hard drives, ignoring the fact that some songs probably exist three or four times on my drives.

Is there a tool that would allow me to scan through all my files and re-organise them somehow?

e.g. Sort all files by Author and then by Album, edit the info, find album art, and group them in folders

I used WinAmp in the past to avoid being forced to sort through my mess... that's why the mess only continued to grow.
But I would love to be able to just drag and drop folders for certain artists onto my new FiiO M11S.

Okay, got me some Bee for my Music.

And was instantly reminded why Apple products are so popular with people. (ease of use)

The tool seems to be omnipotent, but I'm struggling with the insane featureset that I'm presented with.
Will have to spend some (a LOT) more time with this before I can really get my library properly sorted, I fear.

Not free and not cheap but I have 9433 albums and 87,402 songs and Roon handles it easily and effectively. With a click I can sort my entire library in multiple ways, by artist name, song title, year released, album title, run time, dynamic range, date added, play times, last played, etc...

Not even going into everything else Roon offers above and beyond every other software, and I've tried most of them, Roon is worth every penny.

I think Roon and Audirvana will do this

I use Media Monkey Gold for my 80,000+ tracks. The cool feature for me is the ability to find a given song, say Marty Robbins "Big Iron", then create my own 'album' or 'CD" with several variations of the same song.

MediaMonkey is not free, but it's not expensive so I find it to provide a good value.
