Been playing with the new beta. Burned a cd on to my hardrive with the "new" lossless compression in windows media player 9. I have no proof to back it up, but when i rerecorded on to a cd, the format is alot clearer than using mp3 at 320kbs, or monkeys format. I was hoping that we can get some subjective feedback here. Looks to me microsoft has got a winner here.

Um, how could it sound better than Monkey's format? I thought lossless should sound exactly the same... I thought the big issues were about compression ratios and CPU use.
