My music library is a mix of 320Kbps MP3, 16 bit 44.1KHz FLAC, 16 bit 48KHz WAV, and 24 bit 96KHz FLAC.
I want to know what settings in windows and foobar I should use for the best sound from all file types.

Thanks!

If the Modi is 24-bit capable I recommend setting Foobar to 24-bit as this will bring down the noise floor.  You may need a different driver to get access to the higher bit rates.

If the Modi is not a 24-bit capable device then leave it at 16-bit.

It's 24 bit and up to 96KHz, I'm wondering more about sample rate switching though. How do I change the bit rate int foobar?

Install the foobar wasapi component and output bit depth and sample rate will change to match the source. If you play something your DAC doesn't support foobar will report an error.
