wasapi works great for me on my vista system. i use asio4all on my desktop that has XP. i don't hear a difference between using wasapi or asio. the only thing i liked about winamp was its milk drop visualizer and it had a better UI. there's no random play on foobar, i find that weird. there's that play button with a ?, but after the song ends it goes back in order.

make sure to also install the crossfeed plugin if you're using headphones. either naive or bauer. i'm using bauer (i think it's better). the soundstage and imaging is so much better.

For random or shuffled playback in Foobar, check the Playback > Order menu.

Old thread...I know....just wondering if this was a skin or something I can do by just messing around with settings?
