I know many of you play a CD non-stop for few days to burn-in cables or CDP itself, but I always hesitate to do so, I am afraid it will cause pre-mature failure.
CDP may has 10000+ hr life, but it may not designed as continuous duty. A CD usually play 1 hr then CDP motor stop for a few second for next CD. Most user may use it for 8 hours max per day.
Running the CDP non-stop for few days may cause overheating in mechanical parts, ie heat-up the lubricant.
Am I too baby my machine?
