Best group in hip-hop, in my opinion...

Just wanted to know what y'all thought of the dudes,c ause I think they're really underated.

I can post some track titles if need be, more people need to check them out.

Speakin of which, Krayzie Bone (best member) has a new mixtape coming out, and you can order it from here.. There's some snippets on that site, but I wouldn't judge the group from those.

Definitely check out their best albums, East 1999 Eternal, Art of War, and the Collection Vol. One. Those should get you up to speed.

As a little bonus, here's a complete track off the new mixtape for you to enjoy:

Oh, don't hate! :>

Bone Thugs has got some good tunes. With respect to Krayzie Bone, I like "Thug Mentality" off of his "Thug Mentality 1999" album.

It'ss funny really - I was told about Krayzie Bone and Bone Thugs by a friends of mine who is a guitarist and is geared more towards progressive rock - but he loves some good hip-hop and rap. According to him it's essential for him as he further studies music.

They're not underrated. They may appear so if you look on this board, but this board represents a very small bizarro sub-universe of music appreciation. In general they're very respected.

i like bone thugs (early 90's), however it's too bad they can't get their shyt straight, but that seems to be the evolution of music, they'll never be the same again and the solo stuff they're putting out sucks, which is too bad because if they had the right support and backing as well as good producers etc then maybe they could "resurrect" themselves or even individually, but i think their "magic" has run out and somebody else is taking their 15 minutes of fame that they may have once had

They ok, nothing special. I got their albums somewhere *looks at empty garage*. Bone Thugs are the type of group that has a strong cult following, most fans are mainly gang bangers and pot heads. Real Talk. But I think this is the wrong forum to talk about them. The people here are the ones that run around yelling "you can't spell crap without rap".............

Fully. Its one of those ridiculous names that was never meant to be analyzed, because if you do it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Anyways, I have seen Bone Thugs live 5 or 6 times, not once on purpose (they would always open for groups I actually paid to see, sometimes twice on the same tour), and I can safely say that when I was 13 in 1995 I thought they were cool for about 4 months, and since then Ive thought they sucked. Plus to this day they still milk the hell out of Eazy E's name onstage, and i think thats the corniest thing ever. "Buy our album, we were down with Eazy! Hold up your lighters for Eazy, all the way in the back!" I bet when they heard he died, before mourning his death, Bone Thugs first considered how detrimental it would be to their careers.
