I'm curious...

I have a Meier Corda Move as well as a Sansa Clip+. I have the option of using a 9V battery for the Move or a 12V plug. Which one has the better DAC? My current setup is either

1) Lenovo T400 --> Meier Corda Move --> RE0/HD650
2) Sansa Clip+ --> Meier Corda Move --> RE0/HD650

Which combination would give me the best sound quality?

I've not used the DAC in Move, only an older Meier model with DAC(Porta Corda). I will bet the no. 1 option will sound best. It should be obvious.

I can't hear too much of a difference between the two. The first (I think) sounds more airy. What's the difference between the Clip+'s system on a chip vs the Meier Move's PCM2704

What matters is what you think sounds better,for whatever reason. When I was using my Porta Corda MkIII-USB, I could hear an improvement compared to the LO from an iPod Classic. I remember it sounding cleaner...better detail.

As for technical info comparing the two, I haven't got a clue.
