After hours and hours of research, I have narrowed it down to two headphones:

1. HFI-780- $195
2. DT 770 PRO 80- $170
3. Any other ones out there similar to these around $200

I am going in circles trying to decide which one I should get because both headphones are pretty much the same thing.

There is only one thing that I don't like about both of them. That is the HFI has uncomfortable pads and the 770 has reduced mids, but I don't know if that's a bad thing or not because i usually set my eq in a U shape so the mids are already low.

I have the ALO-780 which are HFI-780 modded by ALO, wonderful set of cans, I have reviewed it briefly too. What genre's do you listen to? Will you be using an amplifier? Are you a bass head etc?

The genre's that I usually listen to is Electronica. I currently don't have an amp, but out of the hundreds of reviews I have read through various headphones, it seems like one is necessary. And the last question is a yes, but I don't like it to overwhelmingly crazy that it'll vibrate my jaw off
