which one of these amps should I use in my jacuzzi this upcoming summer?

I think the Blackbird would appreciate some quality time with you in the jacuzzi. Plus, I hear they float

Floats huh??

You forgot the all important electrostatic option with high voltage tube
amp.

Have you ever seen what clorine and water will do to copper and silver
and metals in general? Neither of the options are conformally coated.
Plus the pot is not sealed. That is likely the first part to fail. Followed
by the switch and connectors.

I'd have to go with the XP-7. It has a little more weight to it which might keep it from taking a swim with you if you accidently pull on the headphone cord...

I forgot the most important thing. Why is a hot tub considered a
summer time thing. I run mine all year round. Its especially fun in
the winter after 30 minutes you get out and roll around in the snow.

sarcasm?? thats the room right next to pathos right??

I think that if I were listening in the water, I'd want battery power!

I'd go with the SR-71. It's cheaper to replace than the XP-7, in case of oops!

You probably won't be hearing the sound differences between the sr71 and the xp7 with all the bubbling going on

I've not owned the SR-71 but have both the XP-7 and currently use the HR-2. If the 71 is as near the XP-7 as many claim, I'd say it's your best bet. The RS sound and tremendous portability. Can't beat that.

Of course, you could simply save a bundle by skipping the jacuzzi and going with the "hillbilly bubble bath"

ahah, please tell me this is a joke. Well i guess if you had some water profing case, or was planing on being VERY carful with it. But otherwise thats a lot of money to be spending on an amp thats not going to have a very long life at all.
