Hello, I am fairly new at Head-fi. I currently use my ATH-M50 headphones or the standard iphone earbuds(on the go) to listen to music through either my laptop or iphone 4. The portability of the amps is not an issue. I am trying to decide between the Fiio e7, fiio e11, and the electric avenue pa2v2. I mainly listen to 3 types of music, trance the most, hip hop the 2nd, and rock the 3rd. Which amp would be best for me?

Why the e11?

E7 is a dac/amp which can be used to bypass your laptops soundcard, only the amp section is used for your phone. E11 is just an amp, if you intend to be using this device for both your laptop and iphone E7 is the preferred choice.
