I've recently been looking for new ear canal earphones but i cannot decide which to get, and to be honest, i dont really know where to start looking, so i thought i'd ask the pro's. I have owned 3 pairs of Sennheiser CX-300's in the past as they all broke for one reason or another and i need some new ones. Im looking to spend anywhere up to £40 - £50.

Any ideas?

What kind of music do you listen to? What did you think of the CX300?

mostly electronic music like dubstep, breakcore, trance, d&b, but i sometimes listen to metal too. I really liked the CX300's. Great sound quality and comfortable too. but this time im looking for better sound quality.

I listen to a lot of electronica as well and enjoy the TF10s. The only other IEMs I've owned are E2C's which suck for electronica (no bass).

I would have suggested the Klipsch Custom-2 which is on sale on Amazon for £50, but the bass may not be to your liking. What about Denons? The C551 is great, though it may be slightly outside your budget range. The other would be CX 95, which is around your budget and a couple of steps above the CX 300.
