I currently have an iBasso DX150, it sounds great and has plenty of output but the battery life is bad and it is ridiculously slow and will definitely not receive any more updates from iBasso. I currently use Mr Speakers AEON Closed, HiFiMAN Ananda, DUNU DN1000 and Aurisonics Rockets, nothing too special or difficult.

I have been looking at the following:

Fiio M11 Plus
iBasso DX240 or DX300
Hiby R6 2020

If anyone has thoughts on what may work best for me I would appreciate it.

I can comment directly on the M11 Plus and the DX300. The DX300 is superior in every measure except value. The M11 Plus is an excellent sounding unit that has decent battery life and is very snappy/responsive. The DX300 is a better sounding unit (with room for growth/personalization due to AMP modules), with amazing battery life and is also very snappy/responsive. For full-sized headphones, the DX300 with AMP12 is considerably more powerful than the M11 Plus.

At the moment the M11 Plus has Android 10 where the DX300 (and 240) have Android 9. iBasso has publicly stated that the DX300 will get an upgrade to Android 11 to match the soon to be released DX320. There has been no word on whether the DX240 will get that upgrade.

With that all said, the DX300 is not as readily available any longer so it may be harder to get your hands on. The DX320 is nearing release but is more expensive than the DX300 was. If you don't mind used I've been seeing DX300s for sale often over the last few weeks. Probably from the early adopters prepping for the DX320.
