I'm considering picking up some Sony electronics, well-discounted, in the 1-2+ kilobuck range. Frankly, I shudder at dropping significant $$$ at places on the Net without recommendations from satisfied/dissatisfied buyers. With the wide spread in advertised prices, and the potential for absorbing abuse/ripoffs, I'd like to know where to buy safely.
On the theory that the second mouse gets the cheese, would anyone out there who has dealt with Federal Stereo review the dealer for me? Alternately, if you have had experiences with other online dealers (Oade, etc.) that constitute highs or lows (Bait-and-switch, fast/slow delivery, eternal out-of-stock, broken stuff hard to return, etc.), I'd love to hear them about now.
