Where are batteries for Pana- CT590 available?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think they're swappable with the Sony NH-14WM, available from minidisc.ca.

Don't hold me to that - I'll poke around a bit and return with more.

That $9.95 seems to be for just one battery.
I have an IRiver Slimx that uses this type of battery. I recently bought a pair from IRiver America online store that are 1450 mah. They are $19.99 for a pair but shipping was about 8 bucks.

Can you charge NiMH with a player that does NiCAD?

I was surprised - the link for mini-disccanada.com wanted $22.20 for ONE (the site says battery, not batteries).

I'm assuming that the internal charging system on these CDPs use a delta V circtuit. This monitors the voltage of the battery to detect when it has been fully charged, and shuts off. If I charge up empty batteries, it takes about 2.5 hours, but if then take them out, and put them back in (still charged) the charge indicator turns off after 10-15 min because it already detects they're at full voltage.

I believe if your player does this, it will charge either Ni-MH, or Ni-CD properly.
