What's the smallest most powerful mW bluetooth dongle dac amp? 60mW 32Ω to beat, the cheaper the better.

Don't care about hi-end audio just looking for the cheapest and most powerful around.

Currently have a Bluetooth Receiver TAOTRONICS TT-BR06 which is based on a PAM8908 board and its pretty tiny.

The PAM8908 delivers up to 60mW per channel into a 32Ω load and has low 0.03% THD+N.

Anything else out there as small that can better it? I'm sure you guys would have come across equal or better in searches and researching. I'm struggling to find anything.

Don't mind if it's a little bigger but the object is, smaller the better.

Needs to be wireless and rechargeable obviously.

I would say the best place to ask the question I listed below. My suggestion would be the iFi Go Link.

Google search is far too basic to ask a question such as yours (and it's really not terribly complicated). I recommend loading DuckDuckGo (DDG) browser. It's privacy focused and does as much as practical locally to not feed search engines. Anyway, DDG has built into the browser anonymous access to chat AI engines. GPT-4o mini and 3o mini are a couple of the newer ones that tend to hallucinate less than previous versions. So, use AI not Google.

I asked Chat GPT-4o mini the following, each line further refines the question and therefore the answer or response, starting of course with your precise question:

Now you have a short list to investigate...hope this helps avoid spending days looking in the future

What's the smallest most powerful mW bluetooth dongle dac amp?
Please list the mW output of each
are any smaller than TAOTRONICS TT-BR06
Please revise answer to include respective mW output
Please create a table sorted by power output and size and price MSRP

Answer:

Here are some compact Bluetooth DAC/amps that are either smaller than or comparable in size to the Taotronics TT-BR06, along with their respective output power specifications (in milliwatts, mW):

  1. FiiO BTR3K:
    • Size: Compact and lightweight
    • Output: Approximately 200 mW into 32 ohms (balanced output), around 100 mW into 32 ohms (single-ended output)
  2. Shanling UP2:
    • Size: Very small and portable
    • Output: Approximately 200 mW into 32 ohms (balanced output), around 100 mW into 32 ohms (single-ended output)
  3. EarMen Sparrow:
    • Size: Compact and lightweight
    • Output: Approximately 200 mW into 32 ohms
  4. Astell&Kern XB10:
    • Size: Small and portable
    • Output: Approximately 100 mW into 32 ohms
  5. iFi Zen Blue:
    • Size: Slightly larger but still relatively compact
    • Output: Approximately 400 mW into 32 ohms (balanced output)
The Taotronics TT-BR06 has an output of around 50 mW into 32 ohms, so the options listed above generally provide higher output power while being compact or similarly sized. Always check the specific dimensions and specifications to ensure they meet your needs.

Here's an updated table that includes approximate current street prices for each device, along with their output, dimensions, size, and MSRP:
iFi Zen Blue400110 x 80 x 254.33 x 3.15 x 0.98$149$129 - $149
FiiO BTR3K20062 x 25 x 122.44 x 0.98 x 0.47$99$79 - $99

It al depends what you consider small.... here newly released.

The OP stated what his size reference is: TAOTRONICS TT-BR06 which is based on a PAM8908 board and its pretty tiny. The table shows it's size and the size of the more powerful albeit more expensive alternatives.

I would argue the Shanling UP6 is definitely 'audiophile' focused and not shear power and diminutive size as requested.

Wow, great answer thanks very much for taking the time to do that. Will look at those options more closely now.

And never even knew about things like DDG, I will endeavour to perhaps look at that as well. Google has always been my go to for many many years now. As you rightly pointed out, it's not exactly a difficult question but far too complicated for a search engine and at least the AI Google uses.
